US Visa To Russia: Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is a Visa for Russia? And why do I need one.
A: A Russian visa is a stamp that is affixed to a blank visa page in your passport that is required by the Russian Government before you are able to enter their territory.
Q: When is the best time to apply for my Visa to Russia?
A: The best time to apply for Russian visas is 1-3 months before (but within 90 days of) your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, we can rush many visas in 1or 2 business days.
Q: Do I have to send you my passport? Is it safe to send a passport?
A: Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Russian visa is stamped into your passport and will become a permanant part of one of your passport pages. Visa requests cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application in a secure way, using a traceable courier such as FedEx or UPS.
